At Comprehensive Youth Services, Inc., we host a variety of events throughout the year to engage our community, raise awareness, and support our mission of providing hope and healing to individuals, youth, and families. From fundraising galas and community picnics to awareness campaigns and holiday drives, our events bring together supporters, advocates, and those we serve.
Year in Celebration Gala
January 28, 2026
The Year in Celebration Fundraising Gala is one of Family Youth Interventions’ signature annual events dedicated to supporting runaway and homeless youth in our community. This evening brings together community leaders, local businesses, and compassionate individuals for an unforgettable night of philanthropy and celebration. Guests enjoyed a plated dinner, delicious drinks, live entertainment, and powerful stories from young people whose lives have been transformed through our programs.

The Detroit Shoppe – Give Back Month
May 2026
Shop for a cause at The Detroit Shoppe, located in Somerset Mall in Troy. During the month of May, 5% of all proceeds will be donated back to CYS!
Selfridge Air Show
May 29–31, 2026
The Selfridge Air Show is one of the region’s largest and most exciting community events, drawing thousands of attendees each day. Comprehensive Youth Services will be on site throughout the weekend to raise awareness and support for our programs serving youth and families in Macomb and St. Clair Counties.
Volunteers Needed!
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help run concession stands in return for a donation to CYS. This is a great opportunity to support our organization, connect with the community, and enjoy the air show!

Rocket Mortgage Golf & Give
May–July 2026

Join us at Mike’s on the Water, featuring access to the Snoopy Museum (donation to enter), a beloved local attraction celebrating Charles Schulz’s iconic Peanuts characters. Guests can enjoy great food, waterfront views, and a nostalgic experience while supporting CYS.
